Braces Brooklyn NY: We Love It
Braces Brooklyn NY: we heart them. And not just on teenagers trying to corral crooked teeth. We think braces are cute on grown-ups, too!
I was in Prospect Park the other night for a concert at the Bandshell. It was packed with Brooklynites laying blankets on the grass, buying plastic cups of beer or big plates of beans and rice. The sun was going down and the air was warm, but cooler than it had been all day. It was so beautiful, so communal. I was with my friends, waiting for the band to start playing, and a wave of happiness came over me. I love Brooklyn!
Then who came ambling my my blanket, but my personal trainer, Alisha. Alisha should be the poster girl fro grown-up braces Brooklyn NY. She’s the perfect Park Sloper, fit, healthy, with a glowing smile–a glowing braces smile! Everyone loves her. Everyone tries to make her happy, tell her jokes, just to see her cute smile.
My own mother got braces as an adult, years ago when I got them, too, as a teenager. I was so proud that she felt free to improve her own teeth, that she didn’t think it’s too late. And she looked cute, too. Everyone loves braces Brooklyn NY!
