Lethal Weapon? How About A Great Smile?
Danny Glover’s character in Lethal Weapon never quite could bring himself to retire. He was a driven crime fighting machine. Danny Glover himself is a perennial favorite of movie goers keep up a great work ethic on the silver screen while also allowing time for theater and television projects.
So it was a little surprising to find that Danny Glover a man in his 60s decided to get braces. It’s a move more and more adults are making, and why not?
Brooklyn Orthodontics were not always available to us in our youth. Some of us have struggled with bad teeth all of our lives. Thankfully the stigma about late in life braces has largely subsided. Tom Cruise for instance got braces in the late 90′s before everyone accepted that he was a little crazy. Also, No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani wasn’t “Just A Girl,” but a girl with braces for a decent chunk of the early aughts.
Still Danny Glover was particularly strange. Mostly because he came from an era when actors were more prone to valuing being “real.” It would be equally or more shocking for example if Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson, or Walter Mathau, decided to visit Dr. Yakov Eisenberger for some old school Orthodontics in Brooklyn!
