Visit Your Brooklyn NY Orthodontist Or Suffer Crooked Teeth
When my brother was younger, he was told he would need braces because of his overbite, or else deal with crooked teeth. Of course he fought the idea and was never around when my parents wanted to make that Brooklyn NY orthodontist appointment. To him, the consequences were worth suffering instead of getting braces. Now he’s 30 and regrets his decision to not get them when he was younger as his teeth just got worse.
Especially when you’re young, the idea of getting braces can be daunting. You hear horror stories of taking care of them and food getting caught. You also are afraid as a kid of getting made fun of. The funny thing is, I never once saw kids with braces get made fun of in school. I think it’s a myth to just scare kids, like the boogeyman.
But if you don’t get your braces put on, you’ll regret it later on. And while adults can have braces, it’s harder to pull off and usually it isn’t as effective as getting them on when you are young.
