The Value of a Beautiful Smile
A good smile is worth a lot more than the cost of Medicaid braces. People will always respect you and be willing to hire you if you have beautiful teeth; it’s so much easier to be attractive in life than to have a bad smile and always receive prejudice and funny looks when smiling and simply trying to be nice.
Might as well be a little self-conscious about your Medicaid braces for a while so that when they come off you can have teeth that sparkle. It’s kind of like a trade; two years of wearing braces for great teeth for the rest of your life–totally worth it. In terms of cost too. It may be a few thousand dollars, but it’s an investment that pays off for the rest of your life. It’s hard to measure exactly how much more money good looking people make, but trust me, it’s more than what ugly people (of the same general intelligence) make. Plus they’re offered more opportunities from other good-looking people, which can also lead to money down the line.
If you’re still reluctant, don’t be. Visit your NY orthodontist and you’ll see what I mean. He’ll make you feel better about the price and the potential discomfort you may experience while wearing braces when he tells you how pretty your smile will be when you get those braces off.
