Brooklyn Invisalign, Brooklyn NY Braces, NYC Braces Orthodontist and more!
I am trying to understand the American obsession with cleanliness. Perhaps it comes from our national history, or lack thereof. In Europe, every country has a couple of thousand years of history. Their habits, long engrained, are nearly impossible to break because they are cultural. Ours on the other hand have yet to be defined. Even today the American character is difficult to pin down. So what do we do? Sweep it all away, start again, just like our ancestors who came here to escape from their old world filth.
Part of this involves clean teeth. We love clean straight teeth. They’re as American as apple pie and the blues and baseball. Our former antipathy to the British is manifested in how we differentiate our teeth from their little corn kernels.
We are eager to give everyone in our country straight teeth. Medicaid braces, Brooklyn Invisalign, NY orthodontists enjoy making their patient’s teeth straight. But many are not proud of how they got their straight teeth. They choose to forget, resenting the hard work of their NY orthodontists, making it seem as though they were born with their teeth the way they are or they were subject to pain and embarrassment while wearing them. I think we’re finally getting to the point where we have a past to reflect upon. Maybe that will change how we smile.
